The Haydon HAY-HDPVB02 Twin Pack is a professional single-channel HD video and power balun solution designed for installers who need to transmit both CCTV video signals and power over a single CAT5e or CAT6 twisted-pair cable. Supplied as a complete transmitter and receiver pair, the kit provides a cost-effective alternative to traditional coaxial cable installations, reducing cabling costs whilst simplifying installation in commercial, industrial and residential CCTV systems.

Compatible with HD-CVI, HD-TVI, AHD and CVBS analogue cameras, the HAY-HDPVB02 delivers real-time, high-definition video with excellent image quality over long cable runs. Depending on the video format and resolution, the balun supports transmission distances of up to 400 metres for HD-CVI 720P, 250 metres for HD-CVI and HD-TVI 1080P, 350 metres for AHD 720P, and 200 metres for 4MP HD video, making it suitable for a wide variety of CCTV installations.

In addition to video transmission, the HAY-HDPVB02 supports power transmission up to 100 metres, allowing compatible cameras to receive power over the same twisted-pair cable. The unit is compatible with both 12V DC and 24V AC power supplies, providing installers with greater flexibility when designing surveillance systems.

To ensure dependable operation in demanding environments, the balun incorporates built-in surge and transient protection together with excellent interference rejection and noise suppression. Designed with a durable ABS engineering plastic housing, it offers protection against electrical disturbances whilst maintaining stable video transmission. LED status indicators provide a clear visual indication of operating status, showing green when functioning correctly and yellow when inactive or fault conditions are present.
