Adding IP cameras via external Switch (Hikvision NVR)
If you are looking to add IP cameras via a switch, on the newer firmware releases especially: you must disable the POE channels from device configuration. Then you can add them via the 'Video Device' section to the newly available channels further up the left hand menu.
