A range of monitor shapes and sizes are available including 4:3 square monitors, which is the more natural aspect ratio for standard analogue CCTV cameras. 16:9 (widescreen) monitors can be used on all systems but is the natural aspect ratio for HD CCTV. An analogue camera may appear slightly stretched in full screen view.
